Hello, we are Donald and Meg. Our dream is to complete our family through adoption.  We see adoption as a journey for both you and us and our hope is that this letter brings you a step closer to finding the right family for your child.

About Donald - By Meg

Picture
Donald was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and raised in a small town about forty-five minutes south of Boston. He has an older sister, Denine, who has two children that Donald adores. I met Donald through a mutual friend of ours. The first thing I noticed about Donald was that he was handsome (and still is!), smart and had a great sense of humor. He earned his degree with high honors in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.  He now works for a small financial company that manages investments for charities and universities. His job is flexible and family-friendly and allows him to take time off when needed. He loves reading books, running, hiking, and learning. Donald is a kind and compassionate husband and father whose love for me and our son has helped us create a wonderful, loving family. I know he is excited to share this love with another child.

About Meg - By Donald

Picture
Meg was born in Portland, Oregon and raised in the Bay Area. She has an older brother, Matt, who lives down the road from us with his family. Before we met, our mutual friend told me she found the perfect match for me. While skeptical at first, I knew Meg was “the one” on our second date. I fell in love with her as we talked until the restaurant closed. On that night, we discovered common bonds that hold our family together today: Our faith in God, our desire to help other people, and our hope to raise a happy, loving family. Meg has a Masters degree in Environmental Management from the University of San Francisco, and works for the City of San Francisco in environmental outreach and education. Although her job is flexible and family friendly, Meg dreams of being a stay at-home mom someday.  Meg has a big heart and she loves unconditionally, especially her close friends and family. She is caring, nurturing, and beautiful in many ways. She loves to run, swim, read, hike and watch romantic comedies. Meg is a wonderful mother to our little boy Lucas, and I know she cannot wait to share her love and nurturing ways with another child.
